Meet the Instructors.

MASTER BLAISE FITZGERALD,

• 7th DEGREE BLACK BELT, CHANG MOO KWAN

• 6th DEGREE BLACK BELT, KUKKIWON

Master Fitzgerald studied Taekwondo for 19 years in Los Angeles.  He and his wife ran Burbank Taekwondo School in Burbank, CA for over 8 years. He has been an active tournament competitor, and he won the 2012 California State USA Taekwondo Championship. He was also an instructor in Los Angeles for 6 years. He has ow been instructing Taekwondo for almost 20 years. Before training Taekwondo, Mr. Fitzgerald was a USA Freestyle wrestler for 12 years in South Carolina, where he also earned the title State Champion.  Recently, he studied poomsae with Grandmaster Jae Yoon Ahn, head forms instructor at the Kukkiwon.  As well as being a competitor, he coached high school wrestling and turned out several State Champions.  A proud father of two, he enjoys being a positive influence on young people.

MASTER TARA FITZGERALD,

• 5th DEGREE BLACK BELT, KUKKIWON
  

Mrs. Fitzgerald studied Taekwondo for 17 years in Los Angeles.  Alongside Master Fitzgerald, she has been instructing Taekwondo for 12 years. She also has an extensive background in the arts and has taught voice, acting, and dance to both children and adults. Mrs. Fitzgerald is our main instructor for the Little Cobras program.  Along with Master Fitzgerald, she is a mother of two children, and enjoys working with youngsters.
